Activate with the University of Glasgow - Letham4All

Are you passionate about making your community a fairer place for all? Do like to get involved through volunteering? Do you like making a difference in people’s lives?  Do you believe in the need for social justice?  If you answer yes to any of these questions then you may want to read on!

Letham4All is working with the University of Glasgow to deliver an exciting learning program called Activate!  Activate has been delivered in communities across Scotland and beyond and will be of interest to people who have a passion and desire for communities to make a difference for all.

To support people to achieve their aspirations for themselves and their communities, Activate will help them learn more about the values, principles, and processes that enable effective Community Development.

The free course will be delivered by tutors from the University of Glasgow in The Hub and takes place from September this year and could be your stepping stone into further learning, a new career or personal enlightenment, and increased confidence in your abilities.

Activate starts with the basis that everyone has something to contribute, valuing students lived experience and using this as the start for study into key Community Development concepts which exist in communities today.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Activate programme, please contact Suzie Burt on 07811263092 or email secretary@letham4all.org.uk  and we will invite you along to an information session.
