Community Groups

Letham4All will work with all local community groups and organisations to help improve the quality of life for people living in the Letham and North Perth area.

The Letham Community Hub Project

The Letham Community Hub project are an awarding winning community group who have actively working to help improve outcomes for parents and young people. They have worked with a range of agencies to increase access to services in the Letham Area including the NHS, Perth and Kinross Credit Union, Parent to Parent and Perth and Kinross Council.

They have successfully applied for Participatory Funding to deliver youth activities, a homework club and craft work sessions. They are temporarily based in the Community Hub at Dalreoch Place and are looking forward to operating in the new Health and Well Being Hub in 2019.

Letham4All are working with the group to secure external funding to deliver activities for youth work activities in Letham.

The Letham Friendship Network

The Letham Friendship Network is a newly developing group that has been formed as result of consultation on the design of the new Health and Well Being Hub. They want to help people stay connected to others in their community and help people feel less lonely.

They host a weekly tea and coffee morning on Tuesdays from 10.00 in the Community Lounge in Dalreoch Place and also Needles and Pins, a knitting and stitching group, Monday evenings from 6.30pm. They have organised local litter clean ups and also Day Time Disco’s. Their activities are open to all people, young and old.

Letham Football Club

Letham Football Club was founded in 1960 and over the years has played a prominent role in the development of youth football within Perth, growing as a club to encompass 28 teams of varying ages and for both boys and girls.

Letham FC is now one of the biggest clubs in the east of Scotland and is pioneering in the fact that it is the first community club in Perth with a catchment area not only including Letham but also the neighbouring estates of Burghmuir, Oakbank, Western Edge, Tulloch, Hillyland etc. All teams train and play their home games on our 3G pitch at Seven Acres Park, Newhouse Road, Letham.
