Letham4All will continue to operate in the community throughout the anticipated around 12 months of construction and refurbishment works. Their popular Community Fridge4All Project will continue to open 7 days a week 10 am until 1.00 pm at 119 Rannoch Road, helping to reduce food waste and tackle the climate challenge. The Letham4All Youth Work Project will continue running in the Tulloch Community Centre and Oot The Hoose, like many of the community activities Letham4All support will run from the Letham Community Club. The Letham4All Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 24th November at 7.00 pm in the Letham Community Hub and the last event in the old building will be at the Letham Community Christmas Fair, being held on Saturday 27th of November, from 11 am until 2 pm.
Contractor appointed for Letham Community Hub Works
Letham4All SCIO is celebrating the news that refurbishment and extension work to the former Letham Recreation Centre is about to start. The contract was awarded by Perth and Kinross Council to Clark Contracts, and they will take control of the building and site in the very near future. This project will see a complete refurbishment of the building, extending it to include a Community Kitchen and soft play area, Community Gym, making the building more accessible and energy-efficient. It will also increase the amount of space available for local groups and services to run from the heart of the community. The project will also see improvements to Rannoch Road Park, with new play equipment being installed and the popular basketball court being retained and moved further down into the park to make way for the new entrance and car park to the Letham Community Hub.
