Letham4All held its second Annual General Meeting this week, and like many other organisations, it was held in a virtual environment with 15 members attending. Jon Kidd, Chair of Letham4All, praised the work of all the volunteers and staff who have worked so hard over the last year to support Letham4All and also their community as we progress through the COVID 19 pandemic. The business of the meeting covered the agreement of a Special Resolution to make clear the length of time of a term of office is 2 years and that Board members can’t not remain on the Board for any longer than 4 years. A finance report was presented and an update was given on the current situtation regarding the refurbishment to the existing building.
2 nominations were made prior to the meeting to fill 2 vacant trustee positions and Jon welcomed Michelle Hunter and Liz Blackley to the Board.
Jon thanked and paid tribute to retiring Board member Laura Anderson (pictured), who has been a massive driver and supporter of the Letham Community Hub and Letham4All SCIO. Laura will continue to volunteer in the Hub as a much valued member of our community team.
