Letham4All was delighted to receive a grant of £1328 from the Asda Foundation, presented by Anna Jellye, Community Life Colleague at Perth’s Asda store to Community Learning Worker, Saoirse Buckley and volunteer and Trustee Suzie Burt. The mission of the Asda Foundation is to Transform Communities and Improve Lives and they support local organisations to make a difference in their communities.

Letham4All Trustee, Suzie Burt thanked the Asda Foundation, “This funding is fantastic and will support our work with members of the community to provide warm space throughout this winter in our communities. We want to provide these local warm spaces as people have told us about the worry and stress, they are experiencing currently about the current cost of living crisis and especially about the cost of gas and electricity. Our warm spaces will enable people to have a light meal, get access to Wi-Fi, and if they want it, signposting for support and advice in relation to helping improve their financial well-being. Everyone will receive a warm welcome, and it also is a chance to get out the house, we hope folks will bring their pals and have a blether or bring the knitting and enjoy a wee bit company.”
