Letham4All SCIO had a big thumbs up for the National Lottery’s Award for All programme with news they have secured nearly £10,000 to run a local youth group in Letham, The Inbetweeners.
This project was initially developed by young people, volunteers from the Letham Community Hub Project and staff from Perth and Kinross Councils’ Housing Services. Consulting on the design of the new Community Health and Well Being Hub, young people from the area were actively involved to have their say on how the building should be developed. They spoke so passionately about a lack of activities for young people over the age of 12 in the area that local volunteers and Housing Services supported a pilot youth project. The feedback gathered from young people helped Letham4All SCIO make an application to Awards For All to continue the Inbetweeners Youth Group.
