Letham4All are in a celebrating mood after hearing that they have been successful in their application to the Scottish Government ‘s Aspiring Communities Fund with support from the European Social Fund. Letham4All have been awarded just over £94,000 to help develop the Letham Community Hub.
Chairperson Jon Kidd explained, “ This is fantastic news for us and our local communities. Exciting times indeed! This funding will allow us to operate fixed opening hours, develop new projects and get lots of new activity happening , by employing a community hub development worker and support workers. We are already working with Perth and Kinross Council to have a rethink about the refurbishment of the building and with local parents to install the new soft play area and create a community kitchen area. So there is lots going on and this will be of real benefit to the whole local community. “
