Walk Leaders are the most integral part of a health walk and we couldn’t run our walks without our volunteers.  They spend their time supporting people to live happier, healthier lives through leading short group health walks.  They contribute to the planning and promoting of each health walk to ensure people have an opportunity to participate.  They support and encourage others to attend health walks by offering a friendly welcome, ensuring walkers are safe and happy during walks and make health walks fun and accessible.

Why Volunteer for Us?

There are many reasons and benefits to volunteer, not just for you but for the people you are supporting.  As a volunteer walk leader you will be supporting others to become more active through walking and to improve their health and wellbeing and the opportunity to be part of something big that is really making the difference to people in the community.

Volunteer Walk Leaders will gain new experiences while supporting others and a great way to boost your CV as you develop your skills, grow your confidence and meet new people.  All volunteer walk leaders receive Paths for All Walk Leader training to give them the skills and confidence to lead walks in their community.  They will also receive ongoing support, progression training.
